The Urban Development Authority under Gotabaya Rajapakse had given notice yesterday to immediately remove the Pullayar Kovil (Hindu Temple) situated close to the Tricomalee General Hospital . This is a Kovil where religious activities had been carried on for the last 60 years. The Kovil’s ‘Kumba’ religious festival is scheduled to take place on the 05th of July .
