200 TAMIL Youths (males and females) have been arrested in Trincomalee and are being detained in a SINHALA Detention camp.!!!

Over 200 Tamil youths arrested within two days in Trincomalee: Detained in camps (Lanka-e-News-26.April.2012, 11.55PM) The former TNA M.P. Thurai Ratnasingham speaking to Lanka e news said, during the past two to three days, 200 youths (males and females) have been arrested in Trincomalee and are being detained in a detention camp. These youths have been taken into custody by a group of special security officers who went from Colombo to Trincomalee . The MPs question how these actions can be taken which are not within the framework of the law when the emergency regulations are not in force. The relatives of the youths arrested have made complaints to TNA M P R Sambandan.
