Ranil's latest conspiracy disclosed to the Indian Press - Minister Anura Yapa

Minister of Mass Media and Information, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa divulged another conspiracy of UNP leader Ranil Wickramesinghe where Ranil was trying to take Sri Lanka towards an International War Tribunal.

Speaking to Journalists at the weekly cabinet briefing today at the Government Information Department, Minister Anura Yapa disclosed that Ranil Wickramesinghe who was India this week had reportedly told the Indian Press that the Sri Lankan Government should make a statement on joint opposition candidate Sarath Fonseka's disclosure to the Sunday Leader newspaper, that involved the Defence Secretary without any base of having directed excesses during the LTTE war.

The Minister charged that these anti-national acts of Wickramesinghe were been done with an ulterior motive to directly push Sri Lanka into embarrassment before the eyes of the International community.
