MP curses his enemies

A furious UNP MP Palitha Range Bandara has decided to dash coconuts at major devales in the Puttalam district cursing the perpetrators who burnt his house and party office in Chilaw on October 4.
Mr. Bandara told a news conference yesterday that he would also curse those who aided and abetted the culprits to carry out this crime and the police officers who are abdicating their responsibility to arrest them despite the availability of substantial evidence.
The coconut dashing campaign will start on October 17 at Aiyanayake Devale in Anamaduwa and continue till October 25.
Mr. Bandara said that he showed the media some pictures of a suspect who sustained burn injuries in the incident.
“This suspect was seeking medication at a ward at the Kalubowila hospital. Soon after, I made the exposure this suspect has fled the hospital. Police have failed to arrest any suspect,” he charged.
