An Open Letter to Hon.SL-President: Mahinda Rajapakse...!

Hon.President/GOSL!

As the situation in SL becomes very dangerous,depressing,difficult and sad for all humanbeings both Tamil speaking as well as Sinhala speaking civilians, we wish to put forward the urgent political solution by your self as a democratically elected leader or by UN/SC with your request as soon as possible! We believe in dialogue and a political solution based on mutual respect for HR, freedom(press,opinion,movement), equality, justice, ahimsa, friendship,unity and progress.

The following steps can be taken by you as a leader with wisdom and vision for better future to all citizens in the name of GOD as well as harmony and prosperity:

1.Please invite TNA very soon to your office and talk with them how to proceed with peace talks and political solution.If you can be friendly with former LTTEers, you can be with LTTE too!

2.Declare peace/CF by gazette notice as soon as possible!Pl don't delay as all lives are valuable!

3.Send Mr.Thondaman/CWC, Dr.Jayalath Jayawardene/UNP, Mr.R.Sampanthan/TNA, as well as Rajitha Senaratne/SLFP, Prof.Tisse Vitharana/LSSP and Ambassador/Norway to Vanni for
preliminary discussion with federal solution with full autonomy to NESL.

4. You can bring normalcy by opening roads, removing check points, releasing political prisoners,
helping IDPs to return homes as well as refugees in India/abroad return voluntarily and start new life. New projects for jobs and selvhelp for war widows, youths etc, can be started.

5.Peace agreement with LTTE to end hostilities and conflicts for better future for all people.
New political solution shd include important aspects of Banda-Chelva pact and Indo-lanka pact.

As CBK/SLFP regretted for failure of finding political solution after her long years(1994-2005)
in power, we hope you will not do the same, but find an urgent political solution for better future for all children of all humanbeings! We all pray the GOD to guide you on the right path!
