Tamils had no way of knowing what was going on as the whole thing was in Sinhalese.!!! No one understood a word of what was said.!!! Even the TAMIL Officials did not have a clue what all this was about.!!! They returned, absolutely disappointed.!!! The whole TAMIL community in the North and East is in a desperate situation.!!!

A minor incident. Now, for Tamils, the abnormal is normality. - Subject: Re: Fw: 6 February I meant to write to you about this young man who is a University graduate but has no work yet. He went to the Jaffna campus and finished his education. About 2 months ago 350 young men & women with similar education were taken to Colombo for a seminar. The kacheri in their district provided transport (7 buses) for them to get there. When they arrived at this so called "session" they had no way of knowing what was going on as the whole thing was in Sinhalese. No one understood a word of what was said. Even the Kacheri officials did not have a clue what all this was about. They returned, absolutely disappointed. The whole community in the North and East is in a desperate situation.
