A TRUE STORY OF A 16 YEARS OLD, INNOCENT, TAMIL GIRL FROM VANNI...!!!

It was middle of April 2009, there was a heavy fighting between Tamil militant group:LTTE and Sinhala Army in Northern Vanni region of Sri lanka.

She was a 16 years old Tamil girl from a village in Mullaitivu!She belongs to a poor fisherman family which is depending on father's day-to-day catch of fish for survival.It was not an easy life because of severe restrictions,controlls, tortures, harassments by the Sinhala brutal Navy towards Tamil fishermen from Srilanka as well as Tamilnaadu,india. Oneday her father was killed while fishing in the sea by Sinhala Navy as many 1000s of poor fishermen were killed by them with impunity in the sea.

The mother too was killed in the kitchen by MBRL from Sinhala Army as many 1000s of innocent mothers and fathers, granfathers and grandmothers,brothers and sisters were killed by them during last many years.Her sister joined LTTE because of no other choice.

Then she was recruited by LTTE-militants due to her vulnerable situation, but she refused 3 times and returned back home.She decided to join with other 24 relatives by boat to move to Sinhala Army controlled area by boat with white flag to get a peacefull life. When they faced Sinhala Navy in the sea with white flag,Sinhala Navy started to shoot them immediately without warning or question.Those who were standing(5) were killed and others who hide down were saved.Then Sinhala Navy ordered everybody naked and searched.Then they separated young people from relatives and took 4 boys and 4 girls separately.Elders were sent to possibly to concentration camps and boys were shot infront of girls.Then girls had been placed in a dark room for more than 10 days and gang-raped by Sinhala Army. All those young people who were trying to escape the war and forcefull recruitment to Govt area to get asylum and security were brutally killed, raped or tortured.This is the way many young people were treated by Sinhala inhuman troops.

After 10 days, 2 of 4 Tamil girls escaped from the hell due to the Sinhala soldiers' alcoholic sleep and ran more than 7 hours to another town and begged a Tamil muslim family to help!First they were afraid and refused to help.But later they agreed due to heavy humanitarian consideration.

Luckily they managed to get help from them to travel to Europe through India by a travel agent because of a relatives who were willing to borrow a large amount of money to save their livea.

But eventhough they managed to survive and escaped to Europe,they were afraid or ashamed to tell this story to media. We hope that those who escaped from the hell should tell those stories without fear or shame!Then only world will come to know the inhumane,barbaric acts of some Sinhala soldiers and leaders.Medias too can contact those in the asylum centres in western counties to find the truth about recent massacres, tortures and mass gang rapes.This is their historical important duty to tell the world about Tamil sufferings as well as Sinhala huge atrocities!!!

Eventhough there were many horrible stories about Sinhala soldiers,luckily there were some Sinhala soldiers who were helping poor,helpless,powerless,voiceless, innocent Tamils and even crying when they saw children were forcefully separated from parents in concentration camps! They are the true buddhists and true Srilankans!!!
