AN OPEN LETTER TO HON.UN/SECRETARY-GENERAL: BAN KI MOON!

Dear Hon.Secretary-General/ UN esq!

On behalf of more than a million Tamil refugees/ IDPs in and out of SriLanka, I would like to write this urgent appeal to you to take some meaningful steps towards justice, freedom, truth, equality, ahimsa(non-violence), safety, normalcy, peace, unity and progress!

As you know the man-made sufferings(war/pogroms/massacres/tortures/killings) and natural catastrophes(tsunami/floods/droughts) towards Tamil people in SL is very unbearable and terrible! Tamil civilians have to pay a heavy price for these sufferings and burdens!

97% of Tamil people and 70 % of Sinhala people expressed through opinion polls(NPC) that they want dialogue and political solution, not war! But President/GOSL is not willing to accept this except military solution!
But LTTE through various canals, expressed their willingness for dialogue and political solution! But GOSL says regularly that doors are open for dialogue, but they recently refused Jon Hansen Bauer/Norway envoy to visit LTTE in Vanni for preliminary talks! This is not reasonable! or acceptable!

This is the time YOU have to step in and help to find a political solution with referendum in NESL about 1.Federal state with full autonomy solution or 2. Self rule under UN-supervision like in Kurdistan or 3.Kosova type UDI. You can do this with the co-operation of GOSL and/or UN/SC and Governments of India, EU, USA, Canada, Japan, Norway!
80 million Tamil people who are oppressed and marginalised everywhere need your attention and help to live as equal and free citizens!

Wars in poor countries destroy families, societies,economy, environment, psychology, politics, humanrights, safety, selvrespect, harmony, development etc etc!
You have to visit SL very soon and talk to TNA/GOSL as you are visiting ME, SA,and other parts of the world to find justice and peace!

YOU ARE THE ONE AND ONLY HOPE FOR POOR TAMILS NOW! AS GOSL HAVE NO PLAN FOR POLITICAL SOLUTION EVEN IN THE FORM OF NESL-FEDERAL STATE !!!
